Mission Statement

    It is the mission of the Manchester Police Department to improve the quality of life for Manchester’s citizens and the community that it serves through professionalism, integrity and impartiality in law enforcement services.

    It is the goal of the Manchester Police Department and its members to be recognized as one of the best police departments in the nation.   We believe that we can achieve this goal through partnerships with public, private, business, and government entities.   This will be accomplished by placing the good of the agency and that of our community above personal interest and goals.

    We understand that to achieve this status we must demonstrate the highest degree of service for which we are capable, while maintaining open and honest communications and committing to personal and organizational integrity.

    We shall encourage the spirit of enthusiasm and optimism while developing respect, diversity, individuality, pride, and integrity.
